Creative Aging Arts Training
Training for Providers & Vendors
Building Artistic Communities that Support Older Adults
Creative Aging is sequential, skill-based, arts learning for older adults that embeds intentional social engagement activities. National partner, Lifetime Arts leads the highly experiential and participatory virtual training. (This series will not address nor provide training in art therapy approaches/techniques).
With the support of Aroha Philanthropies and the National Assembly of State Arts Agencies (NASAA), the Maryland State Arts Council (MSAC) is one of 36 arts agencies participating in the Leveraging State Investments in Creative Aging initiative meant to expand opportunities for creative aging across the nation, facilitating lifelong learning, joy, social engagement and improved wellbeing for older adults.
